Few stories have incited as much fury in me as the upcoming episode of #ThisIsLife on Benzos—airing on Sunday. Xanax, Valium, Ativan and Klonopin are some of the most widely prescribed meds in the world. They should not be prescribed for more than a few weeks during periods of high anxiety. Yet, we all know people who have been on them for far longer without being informed of the side effects and the possibility of dependence and withdrawal. Do you have a story about Benzos (some of you have already shared in a previous post, thank you). I’d like to direct healthcare professionals to read your responses.TY
